Service Description
A zoom link will automatically be provided in the event you prefer a remote session or are unable to attend your appointment in person. Kindly note our Cancellation Policy: Rescheduling and cancellations can be disruptive to our schedule. We therefore ask our clients to keep appointments and reschedule only if unavoidable circumstances arise. If you are unable to keep the appointment please call or send an SMS as soon as you can to 0411558556. We charge a cancellation fee if you cancel less than 2 business days before the day of your appointment as follows: 1. If you cancel one business day* before the appointment or later, the full fee for the session is payable. 2. If you cancel two business days* before the appointment, a 50% cancellation fee is payable. *A business day is any day that is not a Sunday or a public holiday. Close of business is 5pm.
Cancellation Policy
Confidentiality Everything you share with me in the course of our work together will be treated as highly confidential. However, there are a few circumstances in which I may be required to break confidentiality: • If I consider you to be at risk of seriously harming yourself or someone else. • If your counselling records have been requested by a court of law. • If another party or agency has requested your information, and you have agreed and provided your written consent to this. Sessions The duration of each session is either 60, 75 or 90 minutes. Sessions are available in person at 14 Church street Kelmscott, or via Zoom remotely. Payments Payment is required at the conclusion of each session by EFT or Cash, please note this service does not offer eftpos facilities. Holistic Calm BSB 036-081 Account Number 536767 Cancellations - Late cancellation fees are payable as follows: 1 business days* notice – full session fee payable. 2 business days* notice – 50% of session fee is payable *A business day is Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Close of business is 5pm. Illness If and when it is necessary to avoid face-to-face contact, sessions will be transferred to online via Zoom or telephone where internet is unavailable. Record keeping Before we proceed with your appointment, I want to inform you about an important aspect of how we document our consultations. We utilise a note taking tool called Heidi to accurately and efficiently capture the details of our discussions and the outcomes of our appointments. Heidi ensures that we can focus more on our conversation and less on manual note taking, enhancing the quality of care you receive. Your consent is crucial for us to use this technology. Please understand that your information will be handled with the utmost care, and Heidi’s use is aimed solely at improving your healthcare experience. Additionally, these notes will be stored in a private and secure location and may be viewed by you if you so wish. Your counselling records will be kept by the service for a period of seven (7) years from the date of your last contact with the service. Email/phone contact Email or telephone contact will be limited to practical arrangements only. If you are faced with an emergency in between sessions, please contact the appropriate crisis service.
